Help build the climate leaders of tomorrow,
UKYCC is a collective of youth volunteers who rely on donations to be able to do our work.
10 years ago, our founders, Casper and Emma, started UKYCC to ensure the youth voice is heard in international conversations and action on climate change. With your help UKYCC can keep going for another 10 years, until climate justice is realised!
In the last 10 years, over 130 members of UKYCC have successfully held UK environmental ministers to account on the slow progress of international climate negotiations, campaigned and WON to keep climate change in the school curriculum, and empowered hundreds of young people to take action on climate change in their community through organising demos, behavioural change activities and information events.
This year alone UKYCC took part in the Jig at the Rig which closed access to the Preston New Road Fracking site for 48 hours, launched our Clean Gas Kiss My Ass campaign against gas as a ‘bridge fuel’, attended the intersessional in Bonn and pushed to keep big fossil fuel business out of climate talks. And of course we kept training and recruiting new UKYCC members!
We know that it is hard to put on a price on the value UKYCC brings to its’ members and the people we work with. However, the resources we use to make this happen do have a cost. From the smallest to the biggest amounts, every penny counts.
