Earlier in 2012 UKYCC recruited a delegation of youth activists to attend the UN climate talks which took place in Doha, Qatar at the end of November.
Passionate about combatting climate change and championing intergenerational justice, and wanting to meet loads of inspiring young people from all over the world via making an impact on the global stage. This A-team was ready to rock.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh this summer and have now moved back to London to live with my parents and cats. Edinburgh had a big impact on me, and aside from my History degree, I left with a determination to become a full-time environmental campaigner. If it pays the bills, even better – but no luck so far! Now that I’m living in London, I am an intern at Forum for the Future. I can’t wait for COP18 – to organize some attention-grabbing actions and make sure all eyes are on Doha as the negotiators gamble with our future.
